USING THIS SITE
Short version: the listings are a community noticeboard, the show is talk and not advice, sponsored items are always marked, and if something here is wrong please tell us so we can fix it.
Event listings are a noticeboard
Events on Community Corner come from organizers, from visitor bureau calendars and from listeners. We check what we can and we mark the source on every listing, but times, prices and venues change and sometimes an event is called off without anyone telling us. Always check with the organizer before you set out. If you spot something wrong, use the report link on the listing and we will correct or pull it.
The show is a conversation, not advice
Real Estate Jerky is a radio show and a podcast about the local property market, local business and local life. Nothing said on air or written here is real estate, mortgage, legal, tax or financial advice for your situation, and it does not create a client relationship. Talk to a licensed professional about your own deal before you act on anything.
Home improvement tips
Tips are general ideas from tradespeople and hosts, not instructions for your particular house. Some jobs need a permit or a licensed contractor. Know your limits, and hire someone when the job calls for it.
Sponsored items are labelled
Where a business has paid for a placement, that item says so on its face. Paying for a spot does not buy editorial coverage, a spotlight, a tip or a radio mention, and it does not change what we say about anyone. Business spotlights only publish once the business owner has approved them.
What you send us
When you submit an event, a nomination, a tip or a correction, you confirm it is accurate as far as you know and that you have the right to send it, and you allow us to publish and edit it on the site and read it on air. Do not send anything false, abusive, someone else's copyrighted material, or anything you were not meant to share. We can decline or remove any submission, and we do not have to explain why.
Our material and other people's
Show names, logos, episodes, written pages and artwork on this site belong to Real Estate Jerky and its hosts. You are welcome to link to us and to share episodes with the player and the link intact. Do not republish whole pages or re-host the audio as your own. Business names, logos and event artwork belong to the people who own them and appear here to identify them.
Other people's links and services
Pages link out to organizers, bureaus, sponsors, host websites, YouTube, Libsyn and a booking calendar run by GoHighLevel. We do not control those and we are not responsible for what they do or say. Their own terms apply when you use them.
Availability and changes
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it is always up, always complete or always error free, and we are not liable for loss arising from using it or from relying on a listing. We may change the site, the listings or these terms as the show changes, and California law applies.
